Hair Crush: Valerie Kyeyune Backström

After discovering the platform Rummet last year I've kept my eye out for this lady. Valerie Kyeyune Backström writes spot on articles on different media platforms speaking out about (African) hair, brown skin, racism and so much more. I featured her post "I'm Thinking About My Hair" last year and honestly ever since I've been thinking about Valerie's hair.

Valerie is not about hiding her hair or making excuses for it, she always seems to wear with with pride. She will rock it big and frizzy, in yellow or pink ombre extrensions or in a defined braid out, either way I'm crushing hard core on Valerie's hair.
