Review: Darcy's Botanicals Natural Coils Curling Jelly

When I was in NY last year and went hair care shopping crazy (read post here) I got a sample of this product with my Darcy's Botanicals order. At first I wasn't sure if I'd like it, though I generally love Darcy's Botanicals, turns out I fell in love. If you have been reading this blog for a while you will have seen this product listed here and there in my My Do posts. This jelly (no, not gel, it's thinner than a gel) is great for my hair! It add moisture, it's light weight and I can use it for an array of styles. The only times I opt to not use it if I want a sleak look with hold I can trust. A little goes a long way, which is great too. I've used it for twist and braid styles as well as on loose hair, and I always feel my hair is soft and moisturized after. I think this jelly is great for my hair type and texture, but may not work for very tightly coiled/kinky hair, though I may be wrong. The scent is pretty subtle, which I like, it smells a bit like marsipan or almond, but not really... It's hard to describe.

I will definately buy this product again, and it's going on my Favorites List.
I bought my jar at British Curlies.

It's runny, almost like a pudding.
