Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is one of those miracle plants it seems. You can use it for just about everything. :) Aloe Vera Juice is supposed to be great to drink as it has anti-inflammatory properties. Aloe Vera Gel can be used on burns and scars to aid the healing process. The list goes on and on, just Google it if you want to find out more!

Aloe Vera is found in a lot of natural hair products such as schampoos and conditioners. It works against hair loss and dandruff. Pure Aloe Vera Gel can be used as a styling gel. This is great since it can be found in most well stocked grocery stores and department stored (even in Sweden). It doesn't give great hold but it helps balance the pH of the hair. It can be used as a detangler, in home made hair recipes and much more.

I just used Aloe Vera Gel in my hair for the first time recently. It left my hair so soft and healthy feeling. But like I wrote before, it didn't have the hold of a regular gel so my hair got frizzy pretty fast. But I will use it again and try it in some home made recipes. I think this can be a great natural product to use on your hair or your child's hair, but be careful, some are allergic to Aloe Vera, so you may want to do a patch test (=putting it on a small area of skin over night to see if there is any reaction by the Aloe Vera Gel) before you put it in your hair for the first time.
