Locs on Kids

Locs or Dreadlocks are linked to a lot of things and there are a lot of misconceptions that come along with this hair style. Some people think only Rastafarians loc their hair, others think only hippies do it, and so on... Having locs is usually something that's frowned upon in mainstream society. They are considered dirty, smelly and not a hair style you can wear as a professional.
I don't agree with any of this. I think locs are beautiful. I love locs :)

So what about locs on kids? There are a lot of opinions on this as well. I think it should be up to the child and the parent to decide what they want to do. And as long as the parent can help the child care for their locs then I say loc you kids! Why not?!
